Last night was the Christmas Concert at our church! It was a wonderful time of singing and worship. The highlight of the evening for me was to hear my little girl sing her first ever solo! I know I am a bit prejudice but she did awesome! She has worked really hard on it to get it just perfect, and I think it was just that...PERFECT!!! I hope you enjoy this video. The quality is not as good as I'd hoped it would be but you can get a really good idea of how it was.

That was precious! What a wonderful song! You're right, she sang "perfect". I believe she is ready for a full length solo. :)

BRAVO for Alayna!!!! You did an AWESOME job with your solo. The expression as you waited in the beginning reminded me of your Mom. I can't wait to see you and Ashlyn ... of course, Mommy and Daddy also.

Thank you all for your comments! I do have a confession...I didn't watch the video all the way to the end to see the whole microphone issue, I just did. It was quite funny the way she didn't really argue with her just stood firm!
