Our Little Princess is Turning One!!!

Well we all finally managed to get in one place and celebrate Ashlyn's 1st Birthday! We had a wonderful time enjoying another of life's milestones! I hope you enjoy the pictures only half as much as Ashlyn did eating her very own birthday cake!

I Lost My First Tooth!!!!

Wednesday Night after church Alayna lost her first tooth! She was sooooooo excited! I have never seen anyone this excited about losing a tooth! She did tell us that she hopes her top teeth are next! LOL I was not expecting this because kids aren't supposed to lose their teeth until Kindergarten I was a little sad when we first found the loose tooth but I guess I'm okay now after all she will start school in the fall.

Financial Peace

We are going the course Financial Peace University by Dave Ramsey! By the way we are really enjoying it. Well this is just the lead in to my story. Alayna and I were at the store last night before our class, I was just picking up some baby food and a couple of other things. As we made our way down one of the aisles she looked at me and said "I thought ya'll were saving money not spending it." I was taken aback I explained to her these were things we had to have and we still had to spend some money to live. Once we got to the register she looked and the cashier and said "Can you tell we're saving money?" I quickly got her out the door! Oh well we had a good laugh and a little reminder!!! Hope your day is going great and you save some money today!!!

Wow, how time flies! Ashlyn I can't believe we've had you for a year already! You are a joy! I am so proud of all your little accomplishments, rolling over, crawling, walking, getting teeth, to mention just a few! I am looking forward to another fun filled year!
